Resistance is Futile

Realized that we generate a lot of negative resistance to things we don’t like. For example, if doing my job is a chore, and I resist that work, my resistance is creating much of the negative emotions that I experience. The resistance generates friction, draining my energy.

Recognizing this, in mindfulness, we do not need to resist that which it is we must do. Instead, commit to it wholeheartedly, wiping out those negative emotions. We’ll be so much more energetic, and get so much more done, when we move forward energetically, rather than resisting. We eliminate the friction, and work freely and happily.
